In the July issue of the magazine Morning two from the publisher Kodansha, it was revealed that the manga written and illustrated by Rensuke Oshikiri, Semai Sekai no Identity, will enter its plot climax in the next issue of the magazine, on June 22.

Oshikiri began publishing the manga in Kodansha publisher’s Morning Two magazine in August 2016, and the publisher published the fourth compilation volume in December 2019.

The author also wrote the manga. Hi Score Girl, which he published in the magazine Monthly Big Gangan from the publisher Square Enix between October 2010 and September 2018, with ten compilation volumes published. The work inspired a two-season, 24-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. J.C. Staff and SMDE, under the direction of Yoshiki Yamakawa and scripts written by Tatsuhiko Urahata, released in July 2018 and October 2019, respectively.

Synopsis of Semai Sekai no Identity

The story begins when an aspiring manga author is pushed out of a building and killed while en route to deliver his draft to a publisher. To uncover the mystery behind her older brother’s death, her sister Maho will enter the manga industry and begin climbing ladders, trying to unmask the dark secrets behind it.
