A leak in the next issue of the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha revealed that the "Shibuya Incident Arc" from the manga was written and illustrated by Gege Akutami, Jujutsu Kaisenis about to end to give way to a new story. The next sheet is entitled "Magic Return".

Akutami started publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha in March 2018. The publisher released the thirteenth compiled volume on October 13, followed by the fourteenth on January 4 in Japan.
