Reddit is one of the most popular social networks in the world. With a similar structure to the old forums but with a natural evolution of topics and sections, it welcomes users from all over the world who gather in the subs of their interests. There are most of them large ONE PIECE fan communitiesNaruto and other anime and manga.
In the last few days, Reddit has decided to hold an almost unique event: the creation of r/Place, a very special subReddit that last appeared five years ago. Here an interactive canvas was created on which it was possible to color the various pixels with a few but recognizable colors and to give one’s own depth Creativity with pixel art. So the Reddit communities banded together and took over parts of the canvas. The end result, after three days of work and battles against streamers and vandals, was officially announced by Reddit.
The main presence, besides flags and references to different countries, is pop culture with memes and especially anime and manga. At various points on the canvas – viewable at the link below – ONE PIECE characters appear, with the crew that salutes Bibi at the end of Alabasta, or with the Jolly Roger, but also the presence of Gol D. Roger when he arrives in Laugh Tale is important. References to other manga and anime such as Shingeki no Kyojin – Attack of the GiantsKaguya-sama: Love is War, Cowboy Bebop, Totoro, berserk and many others. Have you participated in this magnificent creation?
