In the July issue of the magazine Afternoon from the publisher Kodansha it was reported that the manga written and illustrated by Riichi Ueshiba, Ookumo-chan Flashback It will come to an end on June 25.

Ookumo-chan Flashback

Ueshiba began publishing the manga in Kodansha's Afternoon magazine in May 2017. The publisher published the fifth compilation volume on January 23.

Ueshiba is also the author of the manga Nazo no Kanojo X, which he published in the Afternoon magazine of the Kodansha publishing house between August 2006 and September 2014, with a total of fourteen compilation volumes. The work inspired a thirteen-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. Hoods Entertainment, under the direction of Ayumu Watanabe and scripts written by Deko Akao, released in April 2012.

Ueshiba also wrote and illustrated the manga Discommunication (published between December 1991 and September 2000) and Yume Tsukai (published between January 2001 and December 2003).

Synopsis for Ookumo-chan Flashback

The story centers on a high school freshman named Minoru Suzuki, who sometimes has visions of her mother's past as a student at the same institution.
