The cover of the thirteenth compilation volume of the manga written and illustrated by Masakuni Igarashi, Senryuu Shoujo. This volume will be the last in the series.

Senryuu Shoujo

Igarashi began publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha in October 2016 and came to an end on April 22, after a prior notice was published. The publisher will publish the thirteenth and last compilation volume on June 17.

The work inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. Connect under the direction of Masato Jinbo, who was also in charge of writing and supervising the scripts, released in April 2019. The project included Kana Hanazawa playing Nanako Yukishiro and Tasuku Hatanaka playing Eiji Busujima.

Synopsis of Senryuu Shoujo

Yukishiro Nanako is a cute and happy high school student who has a peculiar trait: instead of verbally communicating her thoughts, she expresses them through senryuu (a type of haiku). She and former criminal Busujima Eiji are the only members of the literature club where they will share fun and romantic experiences to the beat of the senryuu.
