Thanks to his talent and brilliant imagery inspired by the western comic world, Kohei Horikoshi has managed to create an extraordinary and dynamic story such as: My hero academy. In addition, there is no shortage of villains, people with skills, but from the enemy front to puncture his jewel.
The new volume of the manga contained an interesting commentary by Horikoshi in which the latter warns readers that the end of My Hero Academia is near. But before that, the sensei must end the battle between heroes and villains in the manga’s latest macro saga.
However, in a recent interview for JUMP GIGA, the author explained how he creates the villains. The first and most important step is to create a single, easily recognizable motif for the character. Hair by Himiko Togafor example, they are reminiscent of those of the Lycoris radiata (a plant). The goal would be to not forget the characters when discussing with friends, a bit like saying “Oh, the one with the burned skin“.
Each villain would therefore be identified by a specific element to facilitate its recognition in the eyes of the readers. And you instead, what do you think of this method? Let us know with a comment below.
