Shueisha celebrates the 20th Anniversary of Anime Naruto with style, organizing events and launching special projects, the latest of which is a modern reinterpretation of the first, historical cover of Weekly Shonen Jump, on which the protagonist of Masashi Kishimoto's work appeared.

Juicy news about Boruto's anime arrived at Jump Festa 2023, but not only that. During the illustrious home event shueisha The Narutop99 global poll has also been launched, which will vote for the fandom's most popular character and lead to the creation of a short manga about the winning protagonist.

The projects unveiled at the same time as Jump Festa '23 do not end here, on the other hand the manga of Naruto was one of Shueisha's Big 3 and millions of copies were sold to the Japanese publisher for years. To commemorate his creation, the author Masashi Kishimoto redesigned the cover of 1999's Weekly Shonen Jump #43the first magazine cover that Naruto appeared on.

This modern reinterpretation of this historic, iconic cover will appear on the cover of the next issue of the magazine Saikyo jumpwhich will be released in Japan on January 4, 2023. From the artwork, which you can find in the preview at the end of the article, we take the more mature quality of sensei and a Naruto no longer a child, with the iconic goggles of the first chapter replaced with the Leaf Village's forehead guard.
