According to the leaks in the next issue of the magazine Weekly Shonen Sunday, it was reported that the manga was written and illustrated by Tomohito Oda, Komi-san wa, Komyushou desu (Komi cannot communicate) will enter a new story arc in the forty-ninth issue of the magazine, slated for November 2nd in Japan.

For his part, Oda began publishing the manga through the magazine in May 2016 Weekly Shonen Sunday from the publisher Shogakukan. The twenty-second anthology was published by the publisher in August 2021, followed by the twenty-third on October 18 in Japan. The work already has more than 5.2 million copies in circulation.

The piece inspired an anime adaptation produced by the studios OLM, Headed by Kazuki kawagoe (Beyblade Burst God, Beyblade Burst GT) and scripts written by Decoration Akao (3D Kanojo: Real girl, Akagami no Shirayuki-hime, Hige wo Soru. It’s Shouko Komi’s first day at the prestigious Itan Private Institute, and she’s already the school’s Madonna. With her long black hair and tall, elegant appearance, she attracts the attention of everyone who meets her. However, there is a problem: despite her popularity, Shouko is poor at communicating with others. Hitohito Tadano is your typical high school boy.
