Very often, after years of working on the same product, an author tends to be anxious to finish the work to start something new. In the case of Hirohiko Araki, the creator of Jojo's bizarre adventurethe situation is a bit different as the sensei is very attached to his masterpiece.
The setting of JOJO LANDS, the ninth installment of his little gem, has remained a mystery ever since Araki He paused to better plan this new adventure. We know that up until Jojo's Part 9, the story was always planned, exactly 17 yearsafter all, the author had drawn a clear line up to this point.
It's still early to say what the future holds for Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, but recently the Sensei took part in an interview for Mainichi Shim Bun in which he clarified an interesting element: "If JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is the only notable series I'm working on, that would be fine with me too. Did you know that there are potters who continue to work even after their 90th birthday? I admire that. I would like to keep writing this manga forever."
A true declaration of love for his work, which has made him so famous and appreciated all over the world. We know the Master planned the storyline up until Part 9 and then retired after he turned 50, but his position hasn't changed since 2007 when he assumed that, health permitting, he would live forever wanted to draw manga. And you, what do you think of Hirohiko Araki's words instead? There will be a part 10 after JOJO LANDS? As usual, let us know what you think with a comment below.
