On the official page for the manga written and illustrated by Natsumi Eguchi, Hoozuki no ReitetsuThe work has been announced to have more than 14 million copies in circulation, collected in the 30 published compilation volumes.

Eguchi began to publish the manga in the magazine tomorrow from the publisher Kodansha in March 2011 and finalized in January 2020. The publisher published the thirtieth compilation volume on March 23rd.

The piece inspired a 13-part anime adaptation of Wit studio, Headed by Hiro Kaburaki and scripts from Midori GotouA second season of 26 episodes was released and produced by October 2017 Studio deen.

Hoozuki no Reitetsu Synopsis

In the afterlife there is heaven and hell. Hell consists of the eight great hells and the eight cold hells, which are divided into 272 subdivisions.

At the head of seemingly endless and extremely varied affairs in this gigantic hell is the savage god, King Enma’s first aide, Hozuki. Between this cool sadist and his spirited companions, there is a catastrophe in hell every day!
