There are several awards in Japan, some very heartfelt, to reward the best manga of the year. Among the most famous awards is the “This Manga is Amazing” that triumphed in this edition Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu to the detriment of other more or less well-known titles.
The project in question is a BL, Horror, Mystery, and Supernatural work with the Synopsis which reads: “Yoshiki and Hikaru are two boys who always grew up together and stayed together. One day, Yoshiki notices that “something else” has been stolen from Hikaru’s house. Even after Yoshiki finds out, he decides to stay together and so begins a new life together with “something”.“
It’s a series that has become very well known at home, so much so that it has been able to dethrone Goodbye, Eri di Tatsuki Fujimoto (chainsaw man) and Eiichiro Oda’s masterpiece, ONE PIECE, which came in second and eighth. A real success, that of Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu, who thanks to this popularity could soon even conquer an anime adaptation.
