The conclusion of the Cerelean Survivor saga has closed a long phase that led Goku and Vegeta to discover a new planet in the galaxy and get in touch with some of the Saiyans' recent history. Since then however Dragon Ball Super was on hiatus. The first announcements indicated a shorter stop.

Instead, a longer period of time has been required for the production of the next Dragon Ball Super saga, which has been announced for some time. For the last few months there has been V-Jump Magazine Content dedicated to the series but no new chapters with other pieces of history to discover. In their place, illustrations of Goku and other special things were actually created by Toyotaro.

However, in this month's issue, the answer finally arrives that will put an end to public expectations. Dragon Ball Super will return on Manga Plus and V-Jump on December 20th with a new chapter and thus with a new narrative arc. So we'll have to wait a little longer, but the promise of presenting an unreleased saga by the end of 2022 has come true. And with that ending the two-month hiatus for Toyotaro and Akira Toriyama's manga, what do you expect from the next phase?
