Chainsaw man, Tatsuki Fujimoto’s critically acclaimed and wacky manga is about to have its first art exhibition, and to celebrate the great success of the work and the arrival of the anime by MAPPA, it has been confirmed the event will be completely free. The exhibition runs from June 12 to July 4 in Shibuya, Tokyo, and the author will apparently be there for at least one day.
Tatsuki Fujimoto recently confirmed that he had started work on Part 2 of Chainsaw Man and suggested that there could be many changes. based on the cast of the characters. At the moment we don’t know when the release will resume, but the art exhibition could be an excellent opportunity to reveal some details.
Chainsaw Man was published on Weekly Shonen Jump from December 3, 2018 to December 20, 2020, over 97 chapters and 11 volumes. As soon as the last chapter is distributed the author had stated that the story would be continued with a “second part”, although it is not currently clear whether Fujimoto intends to continue publication from Chapter 98 or start over with a real sequel.
The Chainsaw Man art exhibition is held at Shibuya Tower Records in Tokyo, which, contrary to what the name suggests, is a record store just steps from Shibuya Station. We are waiting to find out if there is any new information released or not, so we’ll leave you with our review of the Chainsaw Man manga.
