The producer Pony Canyon unveiled the first promotional video for the anime adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by Yuu Muroka, Mou Ippon! (Ippon again!). The video reveals the voice cast, production details and confirms that the premiere is slated for January 2023 in Japan.
Muraoka began publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly ShΕnen Champion from the publisher Akita shot in October 2018. The publisher published the eleventh anthology in February 2021, followed by the twelfth in April 2021 in Japan. Muraoka is also the author of works such as Bakamono no Subete, muneatsu, Yawaraka, Sousou: 2011.3.11 Bokou ga Itaianchisho ni Natta Hello Y Uchikomi!!to name some of his works.
