During the event AnimeJapan 2021 A new promo video has been revealed for the original anime by Aniplex and Studio VOLN, Back arrow. The video shows the second part of the project, which will debut with the next episode on April 2nd. It also offers new music tracks including:

  • Singer Eir Aoi will perform the new opening song entitled "Kodou".
  • The band FLOW will perform the new final song entitled "United Sparrows".

The series has aired in Japan since January 8th and is confirmed with a total of twenty-four episodes on the platform Funimation takes care of sales in the west. Finally, the announcement also included a new promotional image for this second part.

Production team

  • Goro Taniguchi ((Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch) is responsible for the direction of the anime in Studio VOLN.
  • Kazuki Nakashima ((Promise, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Kill la kill) is responsible for writing and overseeing the scripts for each episode.
  • Toshiyuki Kanno is responsible for adapting the original designs of Shinobu ohtaka for animation and also serves as animation director.
  • Kouhei Tanaka is responsible for the composition of the soundtrack.

Back arrow synopsis

Ringarindo is a land surrounded by a wall. The wall covers, protects, cultivates and cares for this land. The wall is god ... it is the foundation of this land of Ringarindo. One day, a mysterious boy named Back Arrow appears in the town of Essha on the outskirts of Ringarindo. Arrow lost his memories, but only says that he knows, "I came from beyond the wall." To restore his memories, Arrow goes over the wall, but gets into a fight with himself when it comes to the mission.
