The battle with the Kara organization that shaped the latest narrative threads in the anime is drawing to a close. Naruto and Isshiki reach the final confrontation: which of the two will win? We compare anime and manga in what for many is the highest moment Boruto: Naruto the next generations.
As spectators prepared for the Leaf Village ninja debacle, Naruto again demonstrated his iron will to fire. By accepting Kurama’s dire proposal, the Seventh Hokage pushes his limits with Baryon Mode, a transformation that allows him to Fight on an equal footing with Isshiki. This particular mode comes at a high price, however, as Naruto’s life essence is drained with each move. However, the Hokage is ready to do whatever it takes to save the lives of Kawaki, Boruto, and all of Konoha.
As Naruto’s chakra comes to an end, Kawaki’s bionic arm gradually stops working. To notice Connection between the two chakras, Isshiki identifies the position of his vessel and calls him back to himself with an interdimensional portal. If he were to succeed in using karma, it would be over for the entire ninja world.
Kawaki’s game of hide-and-seek is interrupted by a devious Otsutsuki plot, the threatens to kill Naruto if it doesn’t come out within seconds. When the monsters of the past return to pursue him, Kawaki gives up and goes to Isshiki.
The episode 217 of Boruto adapts to the events of the Chapter 52 and part of those of 53. The only major difference between the two versions is Kawaki’s flashback, an original anime sequence. With the animated transposition about to reach the manga and stopping in chapter 62, it is likely that Studio Pierrot will set up an original saga at the end of that clash.
Finally, we leave you to the moral dilemma Kawaki faced in Boruto 217.
