Aizen’s betrayal ended the Soul Society saga and made way second major phase of bleach. The hollows are back, but in an improved version, the arrancars. These were the enemies of later manga and anime sagas.
After the arrancar saga, it’s time to see those Summary of the Hueco Mundo saga, with Ichigo Kurosaki and the other boys to rescue Inoue Orihime who was kidnapped by Sosuke Aizen. As the name suggests, this saga is set entirely in the realm of the hollows, desolate and perpetually nocturnal. Ichigo and the others immediately encounter the first enemies, the former Espada and the various divisions. Clash after clash that brings the protagonists of Bleach closer and closer to Aizen’s palace, also using the unexpected help of characters like Nel.
But the Espada also arrive, the strongest warriors of the hollow faction. The humans seem unable to get past Ichigo, but reinforcements from Soul Society come to their aid. Some of Gotei 13’s captains were actually sent here to support the invasion of Ichigo and his companions. This is how high-level clashes happenamong the most famous of Bleach, with Zaraki Kenpachi, Byakuya Kuchiki and Mayuri Kurotsuchi in the foreground.
But all of this favors Aizen, who had already thought of an arrival of the Shinigami now trapped in Hueco Mundo. In this way, with his strongest powers, may invade Karakura. But the Shinigami are waiting for him there too, and not only.
