If fans have been blown away by the quality of Boruto's animations, with Studio Pierrot seeming to have taken a big step forward with the series' recent installments, the same cannot be said of the way the animation studio is adapting Tails Assault Saga. Raining criticism on the souls of Boruto!
The story arc the anime just ventured into is from crucial to the development of the plot. Tails was left the Otsutsuki's will by a dying Isshiki. The mission of the last of the Kara Organization is to grow a new God Tree and feed on the Chakra Fruit to ascend to an omniscient existence. It has to sacrifice one of Boruto or Kawaki to the Ten-Tails. However, the animated adaptation of this part of the story is not convincing fans, who are rebelling on social media.
There are numerous comments online Fans are blaming the Boruto anime for ruining the code arc. In the user's undeniable judgment, the animations omit key scenes, such as the touching one in which Hinata prays for her family's happiness. That's where the disappointment comes from The anime doesn't do justice to the source material, as the effects and animations ruin the viewing experience. So some fans are happy that the Boruto anime is on hiatus, and they actually hope that this hiatus will last longer than expected to allow the staff to gather resources and have more time to work. When returning Studio Pierrot will make fan criticism heard and will Boruto turn into a seasonal rather than weekly anime?
I know I've said this before but I'll say it again, you may agree or disagree, idc… we need a break of 2-3 or maybe 4 years not 3-6 months. Let's give Boruto's animators more time to work and not rush them (SP) pic.twitter.com/DT4DgRp123

Will my disappointment become unbearable? It's the least she can do for her son in this situation and they have yet to remove that part. A little prayer for your children. #boruto pic.twitter.com/U9MFKvvBFl
