A few days ago, the community was shocked by the news of the death of the author of Yu-Gi-Oh! Mangaka Kazuki Takashi. Finally, the coroner performed an autopsy that confirmed the cause of death.

At 10:30 a.m. local time on July 6, 2022, the Japan Coast Guard found the lifeless body of Takahashi about 300 meters off the coast of Nago, Okinawa, according to reports from some citizens. The 60-year-old author died a few days after the unfortunate discovery subjected to an autopsy.

According to coroners Kazuki Takahashi died of drowning. No criminal involvement is suspected as authorities reported that the sensei was wearing snorkeling gear at the time of discovery. Therefore, it is likely that the artist's death was due to a simple, unfortunate accident.

Weekly Shonen Jump welcomed the author of Yu-Gi-Oh!, who created one of Shueisha's biggest hits the richest franchises in Japanese industry. Over the course of his successful career, Takahashi has won numerous awards, including Comic-Con International's Inkpot Award in July 2015, but bad luck killed him. His legacy will live on forever in the Duel Monster and the characters he creates.
