Among the titles coming to Netflix in February 2023, there will also be make my day an original series whose story was written by Yasuo Othagaki, the famous manga creator of Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt. Here’s a promotional film that will bring viewers closer to the release.

Through its official pages, Netflix has released a new teaser trailer for Make My Day, the sci-fi horror anime set to premiere on the entertainment streaming platform on February 2, 2023. Contrary to what was previously reported, Netflix has specified this Make My Day is an anime series and no cartoon.

On the snowy, ice-covered planet Coldfoot lies a precious and coveted mineral identified as “Mr.” On the surface, this world seems like a utopia where there is no crime, but in reality it’s the bandits who get the sig out. Jail warden Jim, rushing to the scene of a sudden accident, encounters one mysterious creature that attacks humans.

The direction of the series was entrusted Makoto Honda at Taiwanese animation studio 5 Inc. which adopts a graphic style in 3DCG. The series is being worked on by designers Shoji Kawamori and Kiyotaka Oshiyama, famous for their previous work on Macross and Devilman Crybaby. The music for the series was created by Kensuke Ushio, who also previously worked on Devilman Crybaby.
