Trigun is one of the classics of the 90s, with a clearly defined style that Yasuhiro Nightow also brought with him in later works. However, the project is set for a complete redesign, as evidenced by the new concept art of Vash the Stampede and the new world it will live in, which has been completely overhauled for Trigun: Stampede.

The Trigun Stampede trailer highlights all the changes made by the production and approved by the historical mangaka. Vash the Stampede will engage in an unprecedented adventure and who no longer sees the desert wastes of his world, but rather more lush and futuristic places. Further confirmation of this change in setting and mood of the series comes from the new one Trigun Stampede poster.

Vash sits astride a creature that can fly with a skull above his head and blue plumage while other characters are behind him. It is very clear who will be Nicholas D. Wolfwood, one of the historical protagonists of Trigun, with his huge cruciform weapon, sealed in this case.

At the top are the words “Ready, Steady, Roll” in English, over a blue sky and with a cheerfulness and light-heartedness that was harder to find in the first Trigun anime. What do you think of this key visual?
