Tokyo Ghoul There may not even be an ongoing anime series at the moment upon completion Tokyo Ghoul: RE, but Ken Kaneki’s story has garnered quite a few fans over the years. Many of them are crossing their fingers that the anime will return to the small screen one day.

And with MAP study which has also made an important name for itself on the mainstream level Attack On Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen and the future Chainsaw Man, many fans hope that the animation studio will take it upon itself to bring the ghoul world created by Sui Ishida to the fore again.

Tokyo Ghoul fan LukaZer0 shared his hopes for the anime series’ return on Twitter, leading other fans to argue Perhaps MAP is the best studio to bring Ken Kaneki back to the small screen.

  • “I really hope that one day Map or Ufotable will bring Tokyo Ghoul to life, the manga is so cool and deserves a proper adaptation.
  • “I think it would be spectacular if it was made by WIT instead of Ufotable or Map. Ufotable and Map can produce high quality animations but for me WIT is the best.”
  • “Madhouse, Map or Wit to restart.”
  • “Tokyo Ghoul definitely needs another anime that can give it the appreciation it deserves. An incredible manga like Tokyo Ghoul that received such a lackluster adaptation was really disappointing, especially with all the cuts. We probably won’t have any. different adaptation, but I still have some hope.”
  • “If Ufotable put half the effort it put into the Fate Heaven’s Feel movies into a Tokyo Ghoul remake… that would be a game changer!”
  • “No matter who reboots it, they should leave the opening as it was. Esp Unravel’s lyrics fit the series so well that it definitely seems to be Kaneki’s point of view.”
  • “I want Pierrot to be honest because the animation was amazing except for ‘:re’. They showed what they can do. I hope he has a better director and a better production committee so the story doesn’t get rushed.”
  • “I need Map to do this, they have shown great skill in adapting dark manga series and Tokyo Ghoul suits their art style.”
