After the world premiere for the animated adaptation of the light novels Majo no tabitabi, the Japanese magazine New guy had the opportunity to interview his author, Jougi Shiraishi, to know their opinion on the aspects of animation and the reception of this work abroad. In part of the above interview, the author made a curious query to the staff working on producing the series.
This came about when the interviewer asked him if he had ever had contact with the anime’s production staff for surveillance. Shiraishi mentioned that he had the opportunity to chat with them and he mentioned “Please don’t show Elaina’s underwear.”. The reason for this request from Shiraishi is that he wants his work to reach the widest possible audience, people of all ages. In order to reach a wider audience, it would be necessary to avoid fan service-type scenes.
After the interview was published, various internet users showed that their decision was indeed respected and that there are no fan service scenes no matter how hard they try.
The series premiered in Japan on October 2nd. For his part, Jougi began publishing novels and the editor in April 2016 SB Creative released the eleventh volume on November 14th. A manga adaptation will be published on the website Manga Up! from the publisher Square enix since November 2018. The publisher published the first compilation volume in April 2019.

Synopsis of Majo no Tabitabi
In a certain place there is a traveling witch named Elaina. As a traveler, she has met many people and countries as she continues her long, long journey.
A city that only accepts wizards, a muscle-loving giant, a young man who wants to reconnect with his deceased lover, an abandoned princess in a ruined city, and the witch’s story will be intertwined with everyone.
The witch meets incredibly strange people and makes wonderful memories together. Now, even now, she can’t help but keep her whole life marked by encounters and farewells..
