On the official page for the animated adaptation of light novels written by Kei Azumi and illustrated by Mitsuaki Matsumoto, Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu (Tsukimichi: Moonlight fantasy) the second promotional video of the project was released. The video confirms that the series will premiere in Japan on July 7th and reveals the musical themes, including:
- Syudou plays the opening song entitled "Gambler".
- Ezoshika Gourmet Club plays the final theme song "Beautiful Dreamer".
The platform Crispy roll It had previously confirmed that it will take over the distribution of this twelve-part series in the West. On the other hand, Azumi began publishing the novels through the website Shousetsuka ni Narou 2012 and later the publishing house the AlphaPolis started publishing on paper in May 2013. A manga adaptation by Kotora cinema will be published in the application AlphaPolis web manga since June 2015.

Summary of Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu
The fantasy story revolves around Makoto Misumi, an ordinary high school boy who is sent to a new world as a brave warrior. Unfortunately the goddess of this new world said contemptuously: "How ugly you are", withdrew his title and banished him to the most remote corners of the desert.
As he wandered around, Makoto encountered dragons, spiders, orcs, dwarves, and all sorts of fantastic creatures. Due to the different surroundings of his homeworld, Makoto now has extraordinary magic and combat powers. This is how he survives in this world while facing various threats. Thus the curtain rises on the fantasy of a social reform of the alternative world, at the center of which stands a young man who has been abandoned by the gods and humans.
