On the official website for the film project Wave !!: Surf Yappe !!a new promotional video for the project was unveiled. The films will be released in Japanese cinemas according to the following schedule:
- Chapter 1: October 6, 2020.
- Chapter 2: October 16, 2020.
- Chapter 3: October 30, 2020.

The trilogy is based on a multimedia project produced by Dear art This also includes a radio program, several CDs, a Yonkoma Manga (four panels) in English and Japanese, and a game for smartphones that will be released shortly.

Wave !! Synopsis: Surf Yappe !!
The story of the project takes place in the city of Ouarai in Ibaraki Prefecture and focuses on Masaki Hinaoka, who befriends transfer student Shou Akitsuki before the summer holidays and is enthusiastic about surfing in the end. Through this sport, Masaki will meet new friends and distance himself from them on his journey into adulthood.
