Dragon's Judgment, the fourth and final season of the anime The Seven Deadly Sins, has arrived in the middle of its broadcast. However, the story of Nakaba Suzuki's sins will not end with this series as the surprise announcement of The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light, a feature film that will be shown in Japan this summer.

With a totally original story overseen by manga creator Nakaba Suzuki, The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light will set after the recent events of both manga and anime. However, a detail was identified that could lead to inconsistencies in the plot of the Fantasy World of Deadly Sins. Attention Spoiler about the last events of the manga The Seven Deadly Sins from the next paragraph.

A specific character has appeared on both the posters and trailers of The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light previously shown on the movie's official website: Escanor. A character who shouldn't be able to appear in the film as Escanor dies immediately after the final battle and therefore doesn't have time to attend King and Diane's wedding ceremony.

How does Escanor appear on posters and trailers? There are several options pending further details or the arrival of the film in theaters. The appearance was chosen so as not to spoil who will die at the end of the anime "The Seven Deadly Sins: The Judgment of the Dragon", and therefore Escanor will only appear in a few flashbacks in the film. Another possibility is that the anime continues on a different path and hence the person with Solar Grace He will not perish at the end of the clash with the Demon Kingand thus attend the wedding of her friends.

The last option, and probably the one that would upset fans the most, would be to Bring Escanor back to life during the crisis that will involve fairies and giants. Which of these three won't we find out until the coming months with the arrival of The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light in Japanese cinemas.
