At the end of the previously announced countdown, it was officially confirmed that the manga was written also known as Akaka and illustrated by Yokoyari Mengo, Oshi no Ko (My star), will have an anime adaptation. The press release confirms that the studies Doga Kobo are responsible for the production, but a planned premiere date has not been announced.

Oshi no Ko

Akasaka and Yokoyari started publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly jump from the publisher shueisha in April 2020. The publisher published the seventh anthology in February 2022 and will publish the eighth in Japan on June 17. also known as Akaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is war) writes it Yokoyari Mengo (Kuzu no Honkai) illustrates this, and the work already has more than 2 million cumulative copies in circulation.

Synopsis for Oshi no Ko

16-year-old Ai Hoshino is a talented and beautiful idol who is adored by her fans. She is the personification of purity, but all that glitters is not gold... Gorou Honda is a gynecologist from a rural area and a big fan of Ai. When the pregnant idol shows up at his hospital, he is more than confused. Gorou promises her a safe delivery, but little does he know that an encounter with a mysterious figure will lead to his untimely death, or so he thought. Gorou opens his eyes to find himself in the womb of his beloved idol and discovers that he has been reincarnated as Aquamarine Hoshino, Ai's newborn son!
