Written on the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels by Nana Mikoshiba and illustrated by Norihito Sasaki, The Iceblade Wizard will rule the world (Hyouken no Majutsushi ga Sekai wo Suberu: Sekai Saikyou no Majutsushi de Aru Shounen wa, Majutsu Gakuin ni Nyuugaku suru) a promotional video for the project was released. The video reveals and confirms the production details the premiere is planned for the month of January 2023 in Japan.
Nana Mikoshiba began publishing the story through the independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou in October 2019. The physical version with illustrations by Norihito Sasaki was released in Japan in July 2020 via the publisher Kodansha. A manga adaptation will be released through the service magazine pouch from the publisher Kodansha from June 2020.
