On the official website for the idol franchise Aikatsu!An online poll has been announced to select the eight members of a new music unit called Aikatsu 8 2020. The survey will be conducted to mark the franchise’s 9th anniversary and the announcement of the new project. The eight girls selected from the four series will support this new project through their activities as a musical unit.

In the first anime, the original unit Aikatsu 8 it was formed twice. The three voted most for Aikatsu !, The two for Aikatsu Stars !, The two for Aikatsu Friends! and the most chosen Aikatsu on parade! They are selected as members of the music unit “Aikatsu 8 2020”.
