A press release reports that the manga has been written and illustrated Taku-Kawamura, My clueless first boyfriend (Jijou wo Shiranai Tenkousei ga Guigui Kuru), will have an anime adaptation. The statement revealed and confirmed the voice cast and production team the premiere is planned for some time in 2023 in Japan.

Kawamura started publishing the manga through the magazine Gangan Joker from the publisher Square Enix in May 2018. Previously, the author already wrote other works that were not adapted to anime, such as: Ryuunen! todome-senpai Y Kawaii Kouhai ni Iwasaretai.

Synopsis for My Clueless First Friend

Opposites attract when a cheerful fool meets the loner of his new class in this heartwarming high school comedy series.
