Studio Ponoc was founded in 2015 by Yoshiaki Nishimura and Hiromasa Yonebayashi, both ex Ghibli, and recently presented a teaser trailer The imaginary, Anime fictional film based on AF Harrold’s bestselling “My Imaginary Friend”.
Ponoc study recently announced the production of the anime adaptation of the novel The Imaginary, a cherished masterpiece in the handwriting of author AF Harrold and illustrator Emily Gravett. As the first teaser trailer showed, the film will be released in JapanSummer 2022.
I’m working on the animated film Yoshiuki Momose, responsible for Ni No Kunis Film and the Olympic short film Tomorrow’s Leaves, e Yoshiaki Nishimura, each in the role of director and producer.
The novel by Harrold and Gravett tells the story of Rudger, theimaginary friend by Amanda Shuffleup. Nobody can see Rudger except her, at least until the evil Mr. Bunting knocks on Amanda’s door. Mr. Bunting is a Hunter of imaginary children and even said to eat them. Now that she has found Rudger, she will not let him escape from her clutches.
We say goodbye to Bubble, the new Netflix anime produced by the writer of Death Note and the director of Attack on Titan. Also here is a new poster of Akuma-kun, the anime that was inspired by the work of Shigeru Mizuki.
