Star Wars: Visions It turned out to be a big surprise for fans of the universe created by George Lucas, and despite the many concerns about its release on the Disney + platform, some of the episodes produced could appeal to even the most skeptical due to an extremely peculiar style and perspective.

The news comes straight from the Cartoon Brew website, which has made a list of 84 animated short films currently competing for the prestigious statuette.
Directed by Hitoshi Haga and produced by the Kinema Citrus Studio, who many of you know for the great adaptation of Made in Abyss, the episode in question tells the dramatic story of a now fallen Jedi who nevertheless manages to save an entire village, on the verge of losing the chief’s daughter and his partners .
The appropriate narrative rhythm, combined with the unique soundtrack, composed by Kevin Perkin, as well as the anti-imperialist themes and the unique perspective in dealing with such a story make the episode in itself an incredible tribute to the vast narrative universe of Star Wars, as well as a great example of the encounter between different cultures from a production point of view.
