A leak from Weibo claimed that the manga was written and illustrated by Hitsuji Gondaira, Mission: Yozakura family (Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen), will have an anime adaptation. The leak didn't reveal any production details or a planned release date, and it should be noted that it's not yet confirmed.
Hitsuji Gondaira The publication of the manga began in the magazine Weekly shōnen jump from the publisher shueisha in August 2019. The publisher released the thirteenth anthology in June 2022 and will release the fourteenth on September 2 in Japan. Gondaira is also the author of other works such as Poro no Ryuugakuki and the one shot Genyui Toteku.
Summary for Mission: Yozakura Family
High school student Taiyou Asano has been socially disabled since his family died in a car accident.
