Sousou no Freeze Synopsis
The Demon King has been defeated and the victorious band of heroes have returned to their respective homes after being disbanded. The four (Mage Freeze, Hero Sky, Priest Heiter, and Warrior Iron) reminisce about their decades-long journey when it's time to say goodbye. But time passes differently for elves, so Freeze sees his beloved companions slowly dying.
Before his death, Heiter manages to force Frien on a young human apprentice named Fern. Driven by the elf's passion for collecting a variety of magical spells, the two embark on a seemingly aimless journey, visiting the places where the heroes of yore visited. During his travels, Freeze slowly processes his regrets at missed opportunities to form deeper bonds with his now-deceased comrades.
