The Japanese distributor Animate revealed the distribution information for the Blu-ray compilation packages of the anime adaptation of the manga by SHORTCUT and illustrated by Kotaro shono, Shuumatsu not a harem (Harem at the end of the world). This information confirmed that the adaptation will comprise a total of eleven episodes and that the episodes contained in the packages will be part of the “Chou Harem Ver.“which is described as«The edition that features mating scenes that can’t be added in a weekly broadcast!».
- Package 1 (episodes 1-3) – December 24th, 2021.
- Package 2 (episodes 4 to 6) – January 28, 2022.
- Package 3 (episodes 7 to 9) – February 25, 2022.
- Package 4 (episodes 10 and 11) – March 30, 2022.
The series is scheduled to premiere on October 8 in Japan, and AT-X has listed an “Age Restricted Version”. For their part, Link and Shono began posting the manga on the website. Shonen Jump Plus from the publisher Shueisha in May 2016. In August 2020 the publisher published the twelfth compilation volume. The duo then released a sequel called Shuumatsu no Harem: According to the world in May 2021, and the literary franchise already has more than 7 million copies in circulation.

Shuumatsu no Harem synopsis
The Male Killer Virus: a deadly disease that wiped out 99.9% of the world’s male population. Mizuhara Reito has been sleeping in cryogenic sleep for five years, leaving Tachibana Erisa, the girl of his dreams, behind.
