Via the official website for the original anime Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight, it was revealed that his next compilation film, which is titled Shoujo β˜† Kageki Revue Starlight: Rondo Rondo Rondo, will be released on August 7 in theaters in Japan. Previously, the tape was scheduled to be released on May 29, but due to the declared state of emergency in the Japanese country due to the pandemic situation, it had to be delayed. Likewise, a new promotional video for the film was revealed.

In addition to this compilation film, the franchise has also confirmed a new feature film with an original story, but has not revealed new details about it. For his part, Bushiroad Officially announced the franchise in April 2017 with a musical and animation project. The musical titled Shoujo β˜† Kageki Revue Starlight The LIVE billed as β€œa live 2.5-dimensional musical,” it was presented in Tokyo in September 2017. The twelve-episode anime series premiered in July 2018.

Synopsis of Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight

The story centers on "Starlight", the best known and loved show in the world. Karen and Hikari made a promise during their childhood that they would one day perform together on that stage. Time passes, and now they are sixteen years old. Karen always maintains her enthusiasm every day and holds the promise with all her might, while Hikari was transferred and is now separated from Karen.

But the gears of fate fit and the two meet again. They and other girls will compete in a mysterious selection process to win their participation in the event.
