Naoko Takeuchi’s work is an integral part of the genre maho shojo and its success is still making noise decades after its debut in 1991. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of Sailor Moon comes another great project, done in collaboration with Vans.
In an official fan update TOEI Animation and Vans showed the first pictures of the next Sailor Moon style footwear collection. The two companies are collaborating in a special collaboration that captures the essence and is inspired by the beloved love and friendship stories of the iconic title.
As you can see from the official clip of the collection, which you can find in the tweet at the bottom of the article, the line is Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon x Vans includes the brand’s best-selling designs, sweatshirts and more. The merch that is planned on June 10th on the Vans.com official store, it will obviously have an inspired aesthetic that harks back to the Takeuchi series.
