The first sets of the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet and Violet will hit newsstands around the world at the end of March, but it seems that 2023 of the Pokémon TCG will really crackle: thanks to some leaks that we have actually spotted the titles of next three expansions of the Game Freak TCG.
Already in early December, some rumors had surfaced that immediately after The Pokémon Company's already officially announced introductory sets of Scarlet and Violet TPCi would release three more expansions of the TCGall by mid-2023. An unprecedented concentration that bodes well for a recovery of strength in the card game with the start of the ninth generation of Pokémon, also thanks to the "returning" interest of many now-adult fans.
Well, the PokéGuardian portal claims to have discovered that on April 14th, 2023 Gym Set of Snow Hazard and Clay Burst expansions. The set includes a sleeve containing cards from each set, 64 card sleeves, a deck carrying case, and a storage for cards with four dividers.
The leak in the gym set is implied Confirmation of the existence of the snow hazard and clay burst sets, each of which would feature Gym Head Grusha with the legendary Chien-Pao and Gym Head Kissara with the legendary Ting-Lu. The two expansion sets were already anticipated by TPCi's registration of their respective brands a few weeks ago, but now we have an almost official release date: the date is, then scheduled for mid-April, at least in the rising sun.
