More specifically, during a press conference on September 28th, The Pokémon Company announced itThree new Pokémon expansions released in China, all three are dedicated to the generation of the sun and moon. The three expansions appear to combine cards from the first two Japanese series dedicated to the Pokémon Sun and Moon TCG.
Hard to say why The Pokémon Company didn’t go for it Introduction of the Sword and Shield sets in China, but it is still possible that the latter will not arrive in the Asian country until a later date, perhaps in the coming months. The three Chinese sets will be released on October 28th, all three on the same day. The three extensions will be printed in Simplified Chinese and they will differ from the maps, which will always be printed in Chinese but in the traditional version, already circulating in Taiwan and Hong Kong. However, it’s not clear where the new expansions will be produced, although it’s likely that new production lines will be set up at The Pokémon Company’s suppliers’ factories in Taiwan and Japan.
