Since the distant 1997, the year it made its debut, the Pokémon anime series has grown over three decades up to Master of Pokémon Research, Season 24 of the anime. But what would this latest adventure be in the graphic style of the first incarnation? The answer in a fan-made artwork.

In this artwork, Ash Ketchum, Go, Camilla, Pikachu, Gary, and the others get a makeover that takes them back in time to 1997 when the anime introduced pocket monsters to the general public.
