On the official page for the original anime Aniplex and Studio VOLN, Back arrowa new promotional video of the project was released. The video is part of a series of promotions titled “Country PV”. The third video will be released on December 25th. The announcement also revealed four new members to the cast:

  • Kenyuu horiuchi as Zetsu Daidan.
  • Kenta Miyake as Tei Houwa.
  • Tohru Inada as Bai Toatsu.
  • Hiyama nobuyuki like Gou Zanga.

The series is scheduled to premiere in Japan on January 8, 2021 and has a confirmed running time for a total of two arcs, aiming for six months of continuous broadcasting.

  • Ari Ozawa like Elsha Lean.
  • Kensho Ono like Bit Namital.

Production team

  • Goro Taniguchi ((Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch) is responsible for the direction of the anime in Studio VOLN.
  • Kazuki Nakashima ((Promise, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Kill la kill) is responsible for writing and overseeing the scripts for each episode.
  • Toshiyuki Kanno is responsible for customizing the original designs from Shinobu ohtaka for animation and also serves as animation director.
  • Kouhei Tanaka is responsible for the composition of the soundtrack.

Back arrow synopsis

Ringarindo is a land surrounded by a wall. The wall covers, protects, cultivates and cares for this land. The wall is God … it is the foundation of this land of Ringarindo. One day a mysterious boy named Back Arrow appears in the town of Essha on the outskirts of Ringarindo. Arrow lost his memories, but only says that he knows, “I came from beyond the wall.” To restore his memories, Arrow goes over the wall, but gets into a fight with himself when it comes to the mission.
