Yusuke Murata, Artist of One hit manHe recently returned to talk about the 2015 anime adaptation on his Twitter profile, calling the animations “exceptional” and personal compliments to director Shingo Natsume. According to the mangaka, Natsume is considered by many to be one of the best anime directors out there.
“One-Punch Man and Space Dandy are two souls of extraordinary animators“Murata explained on social media,”however most of them agrees that Shingo Natsume is the best ever“Well deserved praise when you consider that part of the success of One-Punch Man can certainly be attributed to the anime’s extraordinary first season.
Shingo Natsume for his part he was never an overly humble director, and has even ventured over the years to criticize JC Staff’s work on One-Punch Man 2, stating that he would rather work on the series himself and that he expected “a little more”. In addition, Madhouse’s work is hard to match with season one.
And what do you think? Have you ever seen an anime series with better animation than One-Punch Man Season 1? Tell us in the comments! In case you’re a fan of Natsume, we also recommend checking out Sonny Boy, his original anime that is currently in the works.
