It will arrive in Japan in August ONE-PIECE: RED, the new film in the franchise, announced in November to coincide with the airing of Episode 1000 of the anime. Monkey D. Luffy and his companions must deal with an adventure that is not canonical but could reveal interesting details about the past of some minor characters.

Already the ONE PIECE: RED trailer revealed that Shanks has a daughter, Uta, a girl who has become an important figure in this pirate world. It took a few seconds to understand that there is an audience that adores her and that she has embraced the status of an idol, one of the singers, dancers and performers who are a cultural pillar in Japan.
