A clash between awakened devil fruits, that is the summary of theepic battle between Luffy and Lucci, a rematch that readers have been waiting to see again for 16 years. Back then, the Mugiwara captain actually managed to defeat his opponent after one of the most epic fights in the manga. Today, Lucci returned as a member of CP0 and despite the warnings, couldn’t help but engage in a clash with the protagonist and at full power.
However, the scene where the fists of the two characters collide is not accidental as the author wanted to pay homage the same order as Chapter 409, 16 years ago. We don’t know if the outcome of the fight will be in Luffy’s favor again, but this was a long-awaited rematch within the community.
