Written on the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels by Fujino Oomori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda, Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka? (DanMachi: Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon?) a new trailer for the fourth season of the project has been released. The video confirms that the second part of this fourth season will premiere in Japan on January 5, 2023and shows a selection of the new music titles, including:

  • Saori Hayami will perform the new opening theme song "Shiko (Visual Purple)". Sajo no Hana will perform the new ending theme song “Kirikizu (Gash)”.

The first part of the fourth season had eleven episodes in total and was broadcast on the platform during the summer season 2022 (July-September). HIDE took care of the distribution in the west. For their part, Oomori and Yasuda began publishing the light novels through the publishing label GA Bunko from the publisher SB creative in January 2013. In addition to several manga adaptations, the work has inspired a three-season anime adaptation and a feature film, which was released in Japan in February 2019.

Intrepid adventurer Bell Cranel has leveled up, but he can't rest on his laurels in the dungeon. The Hestia Familia still has a long way to go before they can take on the other Familias of Orario, but before Bell can embark on his next mission, reports of a brutal murder rock the adventurer community. One of Bell's trusted allies is framed for the gruesome crime, and it's up to Bell and his friends to clear his name and uncover a nefarious conspiracy brewing in the dark depths of the dungeon.
