For some time now, the Japanese animation market has been approaching the video game market to create original productions inspired by cult titles. One of them is Nier Automata which will debut on the small screen over the next year.
More specifically, the Nier Automata anime will be released in January 2023 and will involve not only the original voice actors of the video game, but also a famous animation studio or A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online, April Lies). The production has already unveiled two first trailers dedicated to 9S and 2B, the main protagonists of the video game, with some action sequences that concern the technical prowess of the project.
In the last few hours, the team has published one regarding this new official key visual, the same that you can admire at the end of the news dedicated to the character of the commander of the YoRHa forces. Currently there aren’t many other details about Nier Automata such as the ending that the anime will go for as the franchise has more than one.
We’ll only have to wait a few more months to see how A-1 Pictures will adapt one of the fan-favorite titles of recent years. And you, on the other hand, what are your expectations? Let us know with a comment below.
