Through the official website for the animated adaptation of the manga Kanojo, Okarishimasu, which is written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima, a new promotional video for the series was revealed. In the video you can hear what will be the opening theme "Sentimental" played by the female rock band The Peggies. The anime will premiere on July 10 under the production of the studios TMS Entertainment.

Miyajima began publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha in July 2017. The publisher published the twelfth compilation volume on October 17.
