The first Blu-ray / DVD compilation of the second season of the new anime adaptation of the manga was reportedly written and illustrated by Natsuki Takaya, Fruits Basket, has sold 1,618 copies since its launch on June 26.
Sales are distributed in 1,330 copies of the Blu-ray version and 288 copies of the DVD version. In just three days, it is considered a regular performance. The series premiered on April 6 through the channel TV Tokyo and TV Aichi and it will have a total of 25 episodes. The anime's first season premiered in Japan in April 2019 and featured 25 episodes.
This new adaptation of the Fruits Basket manga features an entirely new cast and crew, as requested by Takaya. Also, unlike the 2001 adaptation, this time all manga events will be covered.

Fruits Basket Synopsis
After a family tragedy turned her life around, high school student Tohru Honda decides to confront the matter with her own hands and moves⦠to a tent!
Unfortunately for her, she establishes her new home on the land belonging to the mysterious Sohma clan, and it doesn't take long for the owners to discover her secret.
