This is the anime’s first update since its second season ended in June 2022. There hasn’t been an announcement since then confirming the production of a third season, but some believe it will be a matter of time, especially considering it’s a season exclusive Netflix hasn’t been published for a long time.

However, there is a problem: despite her popularity, Shouko is bad at communicating with others. Hitohito Tadano is a typical high school boy. One day, Hitohito accidentally passes out and wakes up to Shouko’s “meow”. He lies and says he didn’t hear anything, which causes Shouko to run away. But before she can escape, Hitohito suspects that Shouko can’t easily talk to others; In fact, he was never able to find a single friend. Hitohito decides to help Shouko in her goal of making a hundred friends so she can overcome her communication disorder.
