2021 marked the end of one of the most significant franchises and works in the entire history of Japanese animation. Neon Genesis Evangelion ended with the latest tetralogy film Rebuild of Evangelion, but that in no way stopped the production of merchandise items.
The latest addition to the vast catalog of figures, scale reproductions, statues, manga and special editions was the official cast iron teapot of the series. In fact, the company created Nambu Tekki thanks to a collaboration with the brand a stunning Evangelion themed teapotwhich you can see in the images below.
It is a very special object, built with a unique design but still respecting the emblematic shape of the tetsubin, made in Iwate Prefecture for more than 900 years. While a large inscription βEvangelionβ appears below, it is noted in the center the EVA-01 piloted by Shinji Ikari. For those interested in adding this piece to their collection, it is already possible to buy it on the official store of Mizusawa Foundry priced at 33,000 yen, about 257 euros.
Finally, we remind you that to celebrate the first anniversary a special Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 Thrice Upon a Time artbook has been announced and we leave you with a great cosplay that the fan has dedicated to Hikka Asuka.
